eBay is a proven platform for money making for people of all ages. When you sell on eBay, you are reaching out to more than 200 million potential buyers.

Youth Enterprise Academy in collaboration with eBay Singapore launched the Kickstart Your eBay! workshop to help youths take first steps in starting an online business in the highly secure platform of eBay.

The workshop is currently heavily subsidised by YEA but only for students set up a new account and list an item at the end of the workshop. Therefore it is affordable for anyone who has been thinking of making money online but didn't know where to start. A fully refundable deposit is chargeable to guarantee attendance and completion of workshop tasks.

• Understand the advantages of starting an online retail business compared to a physical shop

Youth eBay Ambassador Programme

This programme is opened to all participants of Kickstart Your eBay workshop who wants to promote eBay as a powerful online business platform. Individuals who help kick-start other people's eBay business by referring them to the workshop or by personally coaching them will be awarded certificates jointly issued by YEA and eBay Singapore. Certifications are tiered according to the number of people they have helped start an eBay account and the number of items they have sold on the eBay international website.
